Seven stone slimmer thanks to Rosemary Conley Club and a new found love of exercise

Mother-of-two Rachel now realises that her size was down to her overeating.  “I love cooking and we always ate big meals.  I had my own meal and then finished whatever the children left.  Our portions were huge, really ridiculous.  I got bigger and bigger,” says Rachel.

37-year old Rachel Cook from Melton, Suffolk was larger than life in every sense.  Having been overweight since her early teens, when she was bullied about her size, Rachel weighed a mammoth 17st 4lb and wore a dress size 20 until she joined her local Rosemary Conley Diet and Fitness Club and succeeded in shedding 7st 2lb, and now weighs 10st 2lb and wears a dress size 8-10.

In August 2008, fed up of feeling tired, hot and exhausted, something clicked and Rachel decided it was time to make changes in her life.  She joined a Rosemary Conley Diet and Fitness Club in Ipswich and 14 months later succeeded in losing a whopping 7st 2lb.  Rachel’s only regret is that she did not do it sooner.

Rachel now has a passion for exercise and her nickname has become “Tigger” because she now has so much energy and bounces around all the time.

Rachel, a part-time teacher, goes jogging every day.  She adds: “Now I have confidence and I love the way I look and the way it makes me feel.  I’m like a new person.”
