Sexual Health Week, 12th-18th September

FPA Sexual Health Week aims to inform the public, influence service providers and support health professionals in providing information for clients. This year's campaign, Facts of Life (talking to your children about puberty, relationships and sex) aims to help parents and carers talk to their children about growing up.

Alongside this, the FPA site is packed full of useful information on contraception, STDs, pregnancy and much more. We think it's great they're promoting themselves with Sexual Health Week, as it's so important to be in the know about your own sexual health.

So go on ladies, check out the site. Why not use Sexual Health Week as an excuse to book yourself in for the dreaded (but in reality pretty painless) sex check up at your local clinic? You can find where your nearest centre is through the NHS Choices website.
