Skin Glow - LoveLula.com’s guide to self tanning
Step 1 - Exfoliate
A good exfoliator does wonders for dull, dry skin and is the perfect preparation before using self tans and moisturisers. We adore the suki exfoliate foaming cleanser, a miracle worker if ever there was one; it increases cell turnover, smoothes fine lines, evens skin tone and blitzes spots and blackheads....the result sparkling flawless skin! If you want to treat your body too (especially those on show legs and backs) suki do a gorgeous body scrub version too.
Step 2 – Moisturise
Introduce some moisture into dry skin to bring back to life. A natural body lotion is packed full of plant oils which contain skin loving omega nutrients that the skin can absorb and assimilate (and can do wonders for skin prone to eczema or dermatitis).
Step 3 – Fake it
Self tans use a natural sugar based ingredient which help to build up a gradual tan on your skin. If you struggle to get even coverage when using a self tan in a lotion try a gel based self tan, like the Lavera Self Tanning Shimmer Spray, instead; the aloe vera in this product gives it a smooth, gel like, consistency that makes it easy to apply evenly all over your body so you don’t end up with patchy coloured skin!
If you don’t feel brave enough to use a fake tan go for a tinted moisturiser which helps to lift the colour of your skin and evens out blemishes. Our absolute favourite is the Madara Moonflower Tinted Moisturiser because of the radiant glow it gives even the pastiest looking skin!

Pprogress always requires change. And as is the case now, sometimes those events can be both sudden and unsettling. Still, your instincts must be telling you that if you're to take advantage of the rather exciting events coming your way, you'll need to declutter both your diary and your existing list of goals.
