Top 10 Volunteering Ideas

Volunteers’ Week is an annual event which celebrates the fantastic contribution that millions of volunteers make across the UK. The Week plays a huge part in raising the profile of the millions of volunteers who regularly contribute to society, while inspiring others to get involved too.

To mark the Volunteers' Week celebrations, we've put together a list of our top 10 ways to get involved and make a difference, both in the UK and further afield.

Raise money for Cancer Research UK and help to promote events before hand or on the day. You can marshal, work in the finish area giving out water, medals and goody bags or help with setting up or clearing down the event.  Volunteering for Race for Life has helped to fund advances in cancer research across the UK for the last 17 years.
