25 Bessant & Drury freezer bags of ice-cream to win!
Competition ends on the 21st March 2012
Steve Bessant starting experimenting in his kitchen at home just 18 months ago with a borrowed ice-cream maker, because as a leading health experts Steve regularly advises clients who have food allergies and intolerances. Along with friend Ian he started to experiment with recipes and ingredients - their ultimate vision to create a healthy, yet premium alternative to ice cream.
They formed Bessant & Drury’s Fine Ice Cream Co. creating the ultimate, luxury frozen desserts in four flavours - Vanilla; Chocolate; Lemon and Strawberry – with further flavours to be announced.
Targeting the luxury market, it is the only coconut milk based dessert in the UK, enjoying all of the health benefits of the super-food coconut, with no additives, colourings or preservatives and using real fruit. In-store now at selected retailers Bessant & Drury’s is different from other dairy free desserts as it enjoys a creaminess only associated with traditional ice-cream.
With its highly nutritious and “functional food” status, coconut was chosen as the main ingredient because it provides many health benefits beyond its nutritional content. It is also a good source of fibre and has the added benefit of the fat from coconut being burned by the body rather than stored as body fat.
Enter our competition today and you could win 1 of 25 freezer bags worth £20! Bessant & Drury have deli bags which hold 4 x 500ml tubs which stay frozen in these bags for 3/4 hours. Please note the winner will have to collect their prize from the Bessant & Drury stand at the Vitality Show, therefore please make sure you plan to attend the show before entering this competition.

Sometimes it's immediately obvious how the New Moon changes your perspective. But because this one's taken place during a period of change which is reshaping the lives of others as much as it is yours, you won't necessarily recognise the insights it brings right away. Soon, however, they'll be crystal clear. By Shelley von Strunckel
